Zombo, Is stop animation dead ? In this day and age of cgi, even what few stop animation films that come out (Paranorman the most recent?)are 'computer enhanced' Gone are the herky jerky movements, but in its place is shiny, glossy and sometimes blurry cgi. Can stop motion be saved? What would it take to make it popular once again ? Will there ever be another artist whose name is spoken in reverance as Harryhausen? Or are we doomed to faceless, nameless cgi programmers?

Is the magic gone? P.S. The battle between Ymir and the elephant ? Memorable for life !
