Mexican Lobby Card: The Terror
The first horror movie I saw in a theater. I was 7 years old. All I remember is sitting between my parents in the dark, and watching this woman melt at the end. Yuck. I liked it! I hear there's a remake in the works. Yes, I wonder why, too. But as long as the ending has a woman melting, I'll be okay with it.
The Return of Count Yorga (1971)
Mexican Lobby Card
According to Wikipedia, a third movie for Count Yorga was planned but didn't happen. A shame. Robert Quarry's Count was a solid updating of the vampire character, as was Blacula, for contemporary times. I can't help but think Dan Curtis and his Barnabas Collins helped pave the way for these movies.
