This movie herald (tabloid-style) was a promotional item for Conquest of the Planet of the Apes. I don't recall seeing it when I hit the theater back in 1972 to see the movie. Heralds, like pressbooks, aren't used anymore, but I was pleasantly surprised when one for Silent Hill (2006) popped up.

Here's the movie pressbook for Dead of Night (1972), also known as Deathdream. A Viet Nam vet returns home. Or something that looks like him. An eerie, slow boil of terror. One of the decade's best horror movies, but under-appreciated today.
Movie Pressbook: Terror in the Haunted House (1958)
Also known as My World Dies Screaming (1958). Howco International specialized in B-movie distribution of double bill fare to theaters and drive-ins. The movie's poster art is tacky, kind of weird in its use and placement of one screaming head and four grinning skulls, and actually quite good at stirring up interest.

Movie Pressbook: Robinson Crusoe on Mars (1964)
I fondly remember watching this movie, waiting patiently to see Batman himself, Adam West. I was disappointed he only did a cameo. But the movie is still memorable. I caught it at the Loew’s Oriental on 86th Street in Brooklyn, in 1964. I love the tagline “This film is scientifically authentic…” Sure it is.

The splendidly off-kilter Oliver Reed takes a fun Hammer outing. And let's not forget that "Liliane Brousse introduces a highly attractive hair style in Paranoiac." Not sure if they meant higly attractive to the killer or to the audience, though.
