El Hombre Sin Rostro (1950)
Mexican Lobby Card
Hard to find, El Hombre sin Rostro looks to be a very interesting horror movie. Bloody Pit of Horror has a review.
Vampiros Nocturnos?
Mexican Lobby Card
I'm not sure what movie this Mexican lobby card is for, but I wager it's Big Town After Dark (1947). Although Robert Lowery (Batman and Robin), who is listed on the card, doesn't show as being in this movie (according to IMDb). The card itself sports a superbly dark and scary illustration, one which I doubt depicts anything in the movie, though.
Door to Door Maniac (1966)
Mexican Lobby Card
Five Minutes to Live (1961), also known as Door to Door Maniac (AIP's re-release in 1966), stars Johnny Cash. I'm not familiar with the movie but Wikipedia states it's a cult classic. I see it is also available on YouTube. What drew my attention to the movie was this Mexican lobby card 5 Minutos de Vida, which combines primitive but strikingly stylish images with an action inset scene. The colors used also gripped my attention.

D.O.A (1949) Pressbook
One of my favorite film noirs, D.O.A is a bit sappy in the romantic dialog department but the movie still packs a wallop. Edmond O'Brien is perfect as Frank Bigelow, a guy torn between settling down with a great gal who adores him and his urge to sow some wild oats. Unfortunately for him, it gets complicated and the clock starts ticking. You want hard-boiled film noir? This is one of the classics.

Escape from New York (1981) Pressbook
Snake Plissken didn't let a wall stop him. I saw Escape from New York in a theater in 1981. And not a multiplex theater either, but just one big screen. That's how a movie like this should be seen. Popcorn optional.

Torture Garden (1967) Pressbook
Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee should have both appeared in this movie, but the American studio backing it wanted American names. A pity, as Jack Palance is out of place here. His performance is oddly delivered (but energetic). This Amicus portmanteau entry is still a lot of creepy with Burgess Meredith stealing the spotlight. The Fright Seeds gimmick is priceless.

The Catman of Paris (1946) Pressbook
A poverty row potboiler from Republic Pictures. Leonard Maltin gave it 1 and a half stars. Still, on my to see list. The poster art is excellent.

The Lone Ranger and
The Lost City of Gold (1958) Pressbook
An incredible amount of merchandising went into promoting the Lone Ranger, even before he hit the theaters. With television episodes, comics, books, radio, toys, and General Mills and American Bakeries food products already gobbled up by kids daily, a movie would be easy to promote. Hi-Yo, Silver! indeed.
