The Japanese produced trio of vampire movies referred to as the Bloodthirsty Trilogy (a loose one at that, really), evinced stylish Gothic chills similar to Hammer's. I fondly remember watching this movie, waiting patiently to see Batman himself, Adam West. I was disappointed he only did a cameo. But the movie is still memorable. I caught it at the Loew’s Oriental on 86th Street in Brooklyn, in 1964. I love the tagline “This film is scientifically authentic…” Sure it is.
