The Japanese produced trio of vampire movies referred to as the Bloodthirsty Trilogy (a loose one at that, really), evinced stylish Gothic chills similar to Hammer's. The three are Vampire Doll (1970), Lake of Dracula (1971), and Evil of Dracula (1974). Here's the Mexican lobby card for Lake of Dracula.

I fondly remember watching this movie, waiting patiently to see Batman himself, Adam West. I was disappointed he only did a cameo. But the movie is still memorable. I caught it at the Loew’s Oriental on 86th Street in Brooklyn, in 1964. I love the tagline “This film is scientifically authentic…” Sure it is.
