Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein scene between Lou and Bela

Zombos Says: Classic and still required fun for all horror fans.

So it has come to this. The monsters that once scared audiences and terrorized countless kids through Shock Theater on television were made benign and comical and quite a lot of fun to watch. The world had changed. Science was the new monster, springing to life as we entered the space age. Unlike the mysterious, sinister, and supernatural trappings of Universal’s classic horror cycles, science would still be a mystery to many, but a welcomed one, filled with unlimited potential for doing good.

A second world war was over and hope finally settled in along with an energy greater than that charging up Frankenstein’s Monster. After all the real-life terror and death of a world acting like a mad scientist, a lighter tone–a mixture of medicine tinged with a dash of old world supernatural fog, dark woods, gypsy curse, and a blood-sucking bat–was prescribed with Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein.
