You know what happens to nosey people in horror don't you? They find out all about it. Just before they DIE! But at least they're better informed before they go. So here's some news; just keep looking over your shoulder and read fast.
The Fall, the second volume in Guillermo del Toro’s and Chuck Hogan’s The Strain Trilogy, was released last week. Here's del Toro talking about the first book, The Strain. He also talks about vampires in this YouTube. Oh, and his favorite ghost movies, too, over here.
From Spanish filmmakers Sonia Escolano and Sadrac Gonzalez:
"are setting a challenge with their second film: After seeing The Vampire in the Hole, no-one will believe that it was made on a budget of only $ 1." The Vampire in the Hole is a fake documentary about the filming of “The Vampire in the Hole”, the story of May, a teenage girl who turns into a violent vampire after suffering from the flu. Sounds strange, but it is actually about the journey taken to show how you can make a commercially viable yet independent film at the same time, with an aim to break the mould. This project has generated a year of hard work, a lot of people working for free (ZC Note: must have been bloggers.) … and high expectations."
