Hersheypark was a blast! The Wildcat is the most exhilirating wooden roller coaster ride I've ever experienced. It's bone jarring fun you can really sink your screams into.
Equally exhilirating, but not as gut-wrenching, is the Hersheypark Carrousel. An exquisite parade of fantasticly carved wooden horses, prancing proudly around regal chariots. Quick, can you name movies that had carousels in important scenes? (Hint: one is by Alfred Hitchcock.)
Two superb examples of our fantastic culture: one with a hint of fear, the other a merry nod of the head captured in color and motion. Both go round and round, and up and down, and carry lots of riders.
But all good things, as the saying goes, so now I'm back to blogging, and catching up on all those reviews and skewy views piling up in the closet.

Matt, my wife insisted on buying a ton of candy at chocolate world. Well, it was a ton before we left :)

JM, Maybe if it was called Strangers on a Terror Go Round instead. Merry ruins the mood ;)

Love that picture! I went there when I was a kid, and I still think that it's so cool that the street lamps are made of Hershey kisses. Incidentally, someone had a bowl of them, the ones with the almonds, at work today, and I easily ate 50 of them. I am not stretching the truth either, maybe my belt, but not the truth!

Not sure what other ones there are, but I think Strangers On A Train is the Hitch film you're referring to. Do you think Strangers On A Merry-Go-Round would have been as menacing?
