Here is the list of my top ten favorite horror films I contributed to B-Sol at The Vault of Horror for his final tally in the Top 50:
What's yours?
Frankenstein (1931)Night of the Living Dead (1968)
Psycho (1960)
Halloween (1978)
A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)
The Haunting (1963)
Alien (1979)
Uzumaki (Spiral, 2000)
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974)
Ringu (1998)

I can tell you my top ten list is based on personal tastes, not historical significance. You may be right, but these are the films--so far--that I like to watch again and again.

I'm suprised Friday the 13th is not in the top 10, as horror flicks go. I do not think Nightmare on Elm street would of been as popular without it.
